SPAAR Committees are comprised of all volunteer members. These positions provide opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills while guiding the Association’s directives.

Affiliates Committee

Develops new programs and services offering a variety of opportunities for Affiliates to network with REALTOR® members.


Communications Committee

Instrumental in ensuring member wants and needs are addressed in SPAAR communications, and provides insight into industry trends and market reports


Community Engagement Committee

Builds community partnerships that advance our commitment to improve the quality of life in our service area and promote homeownership, resulting in greater community exposure for our members and enhancing the image of the REALTOR® through increased community awareness.


Committee for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Serves as an advocate of fair housing practices and promotes equal opportunities in housing and further diversification within the real estate industry to better serve association members and their communities.


Government Affairs Committee

Works to expand the Association’s sphere of influence in local and regional public policy areas. It focuses on issues affecting communities throughout the Association’s jurisdiction.


Metro YPN Committee

The Metro Young Professionals Network (YPN) exists to aid new real estate professionals in growing their leadership abilities, connecting with other professionals, and engaging in the Association.


Professionalism Committee

Works to expand the Association’s sphere of influence in local and regional public policy areas. It focuses on issues affecting communities throughout the Association’s jurisdiction.
